Hello hello you guys! Today I’m so excited to share with you my every day makeup routine. I don’t wear a ton of makeup and like to keep it pretty natural so I don’t have a ton of products-but the ones I do use are the best of the best.
Ok. I don’t prime. *Que gasping and shaming* I know I should and it’s an issue but I just haven’t really found a primer that I love enough to use every day. So I usually start with a moisturizer, let that sit in for 10 minutes while I do other things and then start on the routine.
Lets get real. Finding the right foundation shade was never easy for me. I’m mixed and since expanding shade ranges is (unfortunately) a new thing, I would literally have to buy two different foundations to match my skin color. It was expensive and so over the top. Thatttss why I am so excited to share with you all my new baby, the new Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear foundation (woah that’s a mouthful). There’s about 100 reasons why I love this foundation but I’ll break it down into just a few for you
+It MATCHES my skin…perfectly. This stuff looks like my skin when I put it on because it’s literally the perfect match. Lancome gaurentees to have the perfect shade for you.
+It has a medium to high coverage (I love building up foundation if need be)
+It lasts all day. No seriously. I woke up, put it on at 5am, flew to NYC and got home at 12am and this stuff was still flawless
Ok next I do my brows while I let my foundation dry. Mine are pretty thick to begin with but I always want a little more definition
Then it’s bronzer time. I love this one because it blends when I put too much on, which is on the daily and it smells good.
This Becca highlight is my absolute favorite and I can’t find another one that I like as much as this one. I put it on my cheeckbones, below my brow and my favorite, I wet an eyeshadow brush and put it on my inner corner of my eye. It makes a world of a difference
This skin mist is the best. I have no other words. Get it. You won’t regret it and it makes your skin dewy.
And that’s my super easy (and basic) makeup rodent but this foundation is a game changer. I’d def give it a try. It’s found at Sephora and of curse, online at Lancome.com
