Luna-Approved Pet products

Hello hello all of my favorite people. I’m SO excited for this post because Luna and I are officially roommates again! If you didn’t know, for the past year Luna hasn’t lived with me. She’s stayed for a weekend here and there but with my old job and long hours I couldn’t give her the time and attention she needed so she’s been living with my parents. But now she’s back and my She-Shed is complete with my little piggy running around. The week before I picked Luna up at my parents I was in full nesting mode. You would have thought I was picking up a brand new puppy between the amount of things I bought for her and the excitement I was feeling. I wanted to share with you all my favorite, Luna-approved pet products. I felt that when I first got Lu as a puppy I had NO idea what to get for her and wouldn’t know what I would need. Through trail and error I’ve nailed down our favorites.

-Paw Conditioner. This is VITAL if you live in a city or don’t have a lot of grass around. When Luna first moved up to Chicago with me her little paws would bleed from constantly walking on the concrete. I rub this on her paws just about every other day to keep them moisturized and so she can go on the long walks she enjoys. Think of it as a chapstick for their little paw pads.

-Gulpie. If you dog walks as long as mine this is a must. Especially if you live in a warmer climate area. This is basically a portable water bottle that folds down and allows your little one to stay hydrated while you’re walking. Pro tip: if you’re in a city and places set dog bowls out with water DO NOT let your dog drink out of it. Dogs can get extremely sick from it!

-Furminator. If you have a dog that sheds like mine you need to grab this. It’s the only thing that gets rid of ALL of Lu’s hair. I honestly use this every few days on her to get rid of all of her hair so it doesn’t fly around my apartment (I mean it still gets on my things but it def makes a difference when I use this).

-Pet wipes are a must. Every time Luna gets back from her walk I make sure her paws get wiped down. I just picture all of the germs getting all over my couch and bed-so gross! These are my favorite and these are also great for on the-go.

Chuckit! Ball is a must for Lu. She’s obsessed with playing fetch and I had to get this kind since she breaks tennis balls and this one is made of rubber. I also love that I can clean it after it gets dirty from the park.

PetCam. Ok call me crazy but I check on Luna while I’m at work. I got this one from Amazon and I love that I can see how she’s doing while I’m at work. You can also talk through it but I thought that would be taking it a little far lol.
