GOOOODDDD MORNING. I literally pictured myself saying that as the Morning Toast duo. Also my favorite morning show. But seriously. good morning. except not. because i hate mornings. I hate them so much I’ve literally been crawling into bed at 9pm to try and make sure I’m not as annoyed when I wake up. I keep my phone in the other room, turn on my ASMR and have it be pitch black.
What is ASMR?
Honestly it sounded sexual to me when I first heard it. But ASMR, according to Google, is “Autonomous sensory meridian response, sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine” -Wikipedia.
Why do it?
I stared doing it because my mind wanders like crazy at night & I’d be watching vine compilations until 2am. Which I totally recommend, only on the weekends though. But I ended up putting my phone literally across the apartment from me and used my ipad on youtube and sooth myself to sleep.
Who do I watch?
I watch this girl on youtube and it’s life changing. I watch things like hair brushing, scalp tingles & any type of “brain melting” video. I literally feel so so weird typing this out and lowkey feel the judgement but it’s so good, lol.
Final Thoughts.
This is a resounding YES from me. The combo of leaving my phone in another room & using the videos I find myself super relaxed. I either flip my ipad over or put the light on the lowest setting. It’s great. 10/10 recommend.
xx.
Hello hello and welcome to my world. What does the world of Keri Hill contain? It’s one with a lot of McDonalds nuggets, luxury shopping and my French bulldog, Luna. It’s a world where I share with you my favorite healthy snacks in a post but then an hour later you see me eating pasta and french fries on my snapchat (it’s all about balance.) It’s a world where I post a few times a week about lifestyle, home decor, fitness and beauty. It’s a world that I hope you’ll be a part of and look forward to escaping yours to come to.
