Hello hello all of you! I need a new intro. And I know I’ve said that before but I’m so so excited about today’s post. If you follow me on Instagram you know I’ve been really open about my struggle with anxiety and depression. It’s lead me to make some changes in my life to help myself feel better and really change the way I look at things. There are small things I personally think you can do to to help a teeenny bit when you’re struggling.
-The second I wake up I think of 3 things I’m grateful for. No joke when the alarm goes off I say OUT LOUD 3 things I’m grateful for in that moment. It helps me get in the mindset that I am grateful for what’s to come. It just totally sets the tone for the day and changes my entire outlook. -Don’t check your phone! I used to immediately open my phone and see what I had missed but now I’ve gotten into the habit of turning off my alarm and just totally starting my day. I love that IOS 15 has the sleep option so nothing is even on my screen when I check my phone. I feel like waking up and seeing tons of emails and texts is SO overwhelming so I love that I give myself a few minutes to breathe before being reactive to the day. -Affirmations. I’m huge on affirmations. I say them all the time and they have totally changed my outlook on things. I can do a post going more into what I actually say and how I use them but my favorite one I say is “I don’t chase, I attract. What belongs to me will simply find me.” but the key is to say it when you’re in a HAPPY and positive mood. You attract what you put into the world boo I hope these small tips help you and make you feel like you have control over your feelings and energy-they have def helped me.
